Aloe Vera Medical History I
Although Aloe Vera appeared on Egyptian artifacts as early as 4000BC (6 thousand years ago) it is first mentioned for medical use in 1750BC on Sumerian Clay Tablets.
In about 1550 BC it is mentioned in the Papyrus Ebers an Egyptian medical treatise, as well as the Egyptian Book of Remedies.
Later on Arab traders introduced AV as a laxative to other parts of the known world
