How to get your Kids to eat more Fruit

Unfortunately fruit often stays ignored in its bowl until it starts to dry out or rot. A good trick is to take a selection of fruit and cut it into slices (don't peel) then arrange attractively on a platter. Don't tell your kids to eat it just let them help themselves. Cut large navel oranges into thick slices and then just cut these into two, eaten this way the taste of the oranges will literally explode in their mouths.

This isn't encouraging laziness, it's just psychology and helps you/them to their target of 5 fruits and vegetables a day.

On another day try adding a few vegetables such as carrot, also put out a bowl of olives.
