Autumn Bringing my Aloe Vera Back Indoors

Hi,
My AV plants spent the summer in the garden and have prospered all bar one. Two that I thought dead have come back to life and now have a lovely healthy green color. I could probably leave them out a week or two longer but don't want to risk it.

The plant that didn't do well has several blackish leaves, ah well he will be the one to sacrifice his leaves for any future ailments!

I fear I under water in winter being so scared of over watering!
