Aloe Vera on Holiday

It's on holiday that you seem to get the most mishaps, scratches, bites, cuts and burns. I know this but still forgot to pack a thick Aloe Vera leaf!!

I'm looking for new Website Hosting for this site

In fact I decided by using  www.webhostingchoice.com they have reviews of dozens of web hosting companies and dozens of real reviews. They also have an extensive FAQ section on Web Hosting with a section on scams, in particular they warn you to watch out for apparently cheap offers of hosting which turn out to be the most expensive when you finish adding up the extras. Their FAQ Section explains all the basics as well

  • What is virtual hosting?
  • What is a domain name?
  • How do I register a domain name?
  • My host offers unlimited bandwidth/space/transfer
  • What exactly is space and bandwidth/data transfer?
  • What do I need to do to put Flash on my website?
  • How do I track how many hits my website gets?
  • What are PHP, ASP, perl, etc?
  • What is MySQL, MS SQL, etc?

Their top choice which I chose was also the one I'd been recommended by a couple of friends. A website worth visiting even if you think you know it all!

Can Aloe Vera Grow From a Cutting?

The answer is No! Some Aloe Vera documents incorrectly say yes, but they probably confuse Aloe Vera with other Aloe-like plants. Aloe Vera propagates via seed or by pupping. Pups are the small offshoots that appear at the base of the plant. When they reach a size where they appear to be crowding out the mother plant, just break the soil up and gently separate the pup roots from thos of the mother. Believe me it is much quicker to grow Aloe vera from pups than from seed.
